We’re working with a highly regarded eCommerce agency based in Bath to help them find a Frontend Developer to join their team.

Their services include new builds, design, app creation, site takeovers and more; elevating the growth of some iconic brands and helping them to stand out from the crowd. They work with big names across fashion, gifts, homeware, sports, food and drink to name a few.

This is a highly remote role that will involve 1 trip per month to their office for key team meetings. Of course if you wanted to be office based more often, you have the option to do so as much as you wish.

What you’ll be doing

Reporting into the Head of Development and working alongside a cross-functional pod that includes 4-5 developers, designers, and project manager you work on a varied remit of projects including greenfield development work.
This is a collaborative role where you’ll work directly with clients to support with project estimation, working with a mix of tech including HTML, CSS, JavaScript as well as template theming in Shopify to build beautiful eCommerce sites for some amazing household, big name brands.
You’ll also be able to get involved in app development and be exposed to modern tech including TypeScript and React.

The skills we’re looking for
  • Commercial coding experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable in a client facing environment.
  • Ability to support with project estimation.
  • Knowledge of TypeScript and/or React would be beneficial.
  • Prior experience in an eCommerce environment is highly desirable.
  • Any exposure to Shopify Liquid Templating would be an advantage.
